As the month of October begins, work begins on the house. The land is staked out and the foundation work begins. During this month – Alvin’s mom returns home to her condo after many weeks in the hospital. Mom Klassen prays daily for the boys as they build – and always is concerned as to who is making them lunch each day, and how the build is going. Mom was a strong supporter of the retreat ministry vision. On October 27th, God called Mom “home” to be with him. She would have been so excited to see the house being built!
Fall comes – but the weather is still nice. The boys work hard to get the foundation ready for the “POUR” … but that will be the next post!
